Money’s tight, unemployment is running out for millions, and there
are 15.8 million out-of-work Americans. The Administration claims
to have added approximately 800,000 new jobs to the economy so
far this year; most of those were temp jobs with the Census. So,
considering that US employers have shed million jobs, (not the 8
million claimed) we need to add about 20 million jobs to get us
back to “normal” unemployment of about 5%!! 20 million jobs -
seriously, were are those going to come from?
US companies had their best GDP output since 2003 in the last
quarter of 2009. And they did this with the least amount of payroll
employees, ever! Wall Street has bounced back, and the CEO’s are
generously rewarded themselves for their efforts. But what about
the American worker, who has done everything right? The ones that
went to college, held good jobs, advanced in their careers, contributed to society, paid taxes, bought homes, raised their kids, etc.
They find themselves now at the end of 99 weeks of unemployment
only to be insulted by our Congressional leaders who call them
lazy, enjoying the good life on unemployment!!
What an outrage! The unemployed should be up in arms!! Our
government seems to find the money to fund far away wars, and
provide aid to other counties, yet, they have done very little to
create the 20 Million new jobs we need. As firms continue to
outsource our remaining jobs, American workers suffer the brunt
of boardroom and government decisions.

email and call your elected leaders and demand your job, dude!!
